Edible Wild Plants: Foraging the Pacific Northwest

FREE Wednesday Evening Event, No Registration Required.
Join wild food educator and author, John Kallas to experience an entertaining and eye opening slide presentation about edible wild plants found in the Pacific Northwest. Learn wild foods from backyard to forest, swamp to hiking trail, natives and invasives. Gain tips on what to look for, when, and how to identify plants. See edibles at their prime for gathering and a few finished dishes. The talk will be followed by a question and answer period, a short video, and book sales for people who want a signed copy.

John Kallas is the Director of Wild Food Adventures outdoor school and author of the essential foraging guide “Edible Wild Plants: Wild Foods From Dirt To Plate.” The first book of a multi-volume set in the Wild Food Adventure Series.
