This function has not bee set up yet. For now, most people mail (real postal mail) in their registrations, waivers, and checks together.

I Don’t Have a Checking Account. How Can I Pay to Reserve a Space?

There are several ways to pay.
1. Any bank or credit union can write a check for you or create a money order. If you have an account, they may offer a certain amount of checks for free each month.
2. The following institutions can create a money order for a small fee (Prices as of 4/2022):
— The US Post Office ($1.25)
— Fred Meyers or any Kroger store (69¢ if you have a shoppers card)
— Western Union ($1.50)
— Walmart ($1)
— 7-Eleven Marts (Charge up to 3% of the amount)
3. If you live close by, you can hand deliver your registration and pay cash. Our address is: 422 SE 49th Ave, Portland, OR 97215 (between Burnside & Stark). To do so, put your registration in a sealed envelope with “John” or “Wild Food Adventures” written on it and drop it in our mailbox any time of day or night. If you want to hand deliver it, you will need to make an appointment. If you make an appointment, consider buying a signed copy of John’s book at the same time.
4. PayPal. You must send us your registration materials first, then we can send you the PayPal info. You will have to add 5% on to your total to cover PayPal’s fees to us.

Where Can I Buy your Book?

Edible Wild Plants: Wild Foods From Dirt to Plate, is available where all books are sold: Bookstores, online, etc. If you want to buy directly from me and/or get a signed copy, they are available for sale after every workshop. If you make an appointment, you can pick one up from Wild Food Adventures: 422 SE 49th Ave, Portland, OR 97215, most afternoons. We don’t mail them out ourselves because the cost is too high.
